I truly understand the price considering the location and the hotel’s facilities. I could even overlook the Wi-Fi not working. However, I can’t accept the room hygiene. The entire room and the bedsheets smelled as if someone had just slept there and smoked in the room minutes before I checked in. I requested a room change, but I was simply told that all the rooms were fully booked, without even an apology or an offer to change the bedsheets. Lastly, there was no security or parking assistance. I drove around in front of the hotel trying to figure out where to park and eventually had to go inside to ask the receptionist. Overall, the lack of cleanliness and poor service made the stay very disappointing.

I booked for 2 nights, but I decided to cancel it with cancellation fee at half of the full price. I used to stay there once in the past and I tried it a second time. First, the bathroom is not that clean. The water was rusty. I could smell the rust all over my body for the whole day after taking a shower. Second, the bed sheet and blanket were yellow which showed how old and unclean they were. I checked in early and paid another 7$ for it then I decided to run to another place after only a few hours of staying. Third, I looked forward to the $3 breakfast which I enjoyed during my first stay then the restaurant was closed due to low number of guests, which was very disappointing. There was no solution to the problem of water from the staff and the night-early morning staff was not helpful. I had to carry all my luggages and a backpack by myself without any help from the staff. Very disappointing and wasteful of money.
Good for a budget stay but nothing like the picture advertised in the app. Room is spacious but everything is a little old and not maintained properly. Wifi doesn’t work on the second floor. Curtain is old and bedsheet and pillows aren’t the prettiest color.
I saw the promotion on TikTok and it looked really nice, but in reality, almost everything was disappointing. We paid $15 per night, but the bed was extremely hard, literally like sleeping on the floor, so it was very uncomfortable to sleep. The toilet could not even flush properly, and it was dirty inside to the point that I didn’t even want to take a photo of it. The water also smelled strongly like iron, and after showering, my whole body smelled like iron too. They also told us it would be quiet because it’s not near Pub Street, but that was completely wrong. It was very noisy at night — people talking loudly, water sounds, and machine noises — so we could barely sleep. We originally planned to stay for 4 days and booked it for $22.50, but after experiencing all these issues, we decided to cancel and leave after just 1 day. Even the drinking water was charged separately, despite already paying more than the hotel’s advertised $15 per night price. This was honestly my first hotel experience in Siem Reap, and it was very disappointing.
I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with my recent stay at your hotel. Unfortunately, the entire experience was disappointing and far below acceptable standards. Firstly, I booked two Deluxe Twin Rooms, clearly indicating my need for twin beds. However, upon arrival, both rooms provided had only single beds. When I raised this issue, your staff questioned whether I had made a “special request” for twin beds. This is completely unacceptable—if I booked a Deluxe Twin Room, it is unreasonable to expect me to make an additional request for the very feature included in the room type. Secondly, there was no proper solution offered. Instead, I was asked whether I could wait until the next day to change rooms, which is highly inconvenient and unprofessional. The service from your staff was also extremely disappointing. The male receptionist on duty displayed a lack of professionalism and basic customer service skills. He remained seated while speaking to us, did not assist with our concerns, and failed to offer any support despite the inconvenience caused. Additionally, there is no elevator in the hotel, and despite our rooms being on the second floor, no staff offered to assist with luggage. Furthermore, the same staff member asked inappropriate and unnecessary questions and made no effort to ensure our comfort. Even basic service gestures—such as offering extra pillows, blankets, or towels after giving us the wrong room—were completely ignored until we had to request them ourselves. Another incident occurred during the night shift. A staff member was extremely rude to my friend, who had returned to the hotel unwell and needed a spare key. Instead of assisting politely, the staff member showed clear annoyance, questioned why my friend did not have a key, and behaved in an unprofessional and disrespectful manner while trying to locate a spare key. Finally, during checkout, we were wrongly accused of consuming minibar items. While we only used two bottles of water, we were charged for additional beverages we did not consume. Although the amount was small and we chose to pay to avoid further inconvenience, this behavior is unacceptable and reflects poorly on your hotel’s integrity. Overall, this stay was extremely disappointing. The service, professionalism, and handling of basic guest needs were all below standard. I would not recommend this hotel to others, and the poor location only added to the negative experience. I strongly suggest that management review staff training, service standards, and operational procedures to prevent similar situations in the future.
