Helsinki- Arrival

Upon arrival in Helsinki, you will be met and privately transferred to your hotel. The remainder of the day is yours to enjoy at leisure perhaps taking a scenic stroll along the harbor, browse charming boutiques and cafes, or simply unwind and settle in for your journey.

Helsinki

Today, immerse yourself in the charm of Helsinki on a private 2-hour guided Finnish Food Walking Tour. Start in front of the Old Market Hall, where you will receive a great overview on Finland's local cuisine. You can sense the aromas of cured salmon, local cheese, and many other local specialties. Stroll the most beautiful streets of Helsinki center such as Esplanadi and Bulevardi, passing through the design district of Helsinki as well as the idyllic art nouveau neighborhood of Punavuori to complete the tour at Hietalahti market hall. You will taste the fish, coffee, local pastries, chocolate, local cheese, fresh bread, and much more. After your guided food tour, the afternoon is at your leisure.

Helsinki-Rovaniemi

This morning, you will be privately transferred to the Helsinki Airport for your flight to Rovaniemi (airfare not included but can be arranged). Upon arrival, you will be met and privately transferred to your hotel-your cozy retreat in the heart of Finnish Lapland. Take time to settle in and relax before enjoying a delightful dinner this evening, a perfect introduction to your winter stay in the north.

Rovaniemi-Korouoma National Park

Experience the magic of Lapland's winter wilderness with your private guide on an unforgettable journey to the frozen waterfalls of Korouoma National Park. Explore Korouoma, a 30 km geological valley in Posio, famous for not just its waterfalls but also dramatic cliffs. You will embark on a 1.5 km hike to the waterfalls, capturing unique photos of the Lappish wildnerness and possibly spotting reindeer, moose, or red fox. Following your excursion, return to Rovaniemi and enjoy a free afternoon at leisure, with time to relax or explore additional activities at your own pace.

Depart your hotel for the Lulea Airport (transfers not included and can be arranged directly with your hotel).
