I chose this hotel because it was close to the event venue at the LKS Faculty of Medicine. However, walking wasn't an option due to the distance, and there was no public transport serving the route, so I had to take a taxi or Uber.
The hotel is located quite far from the main bustling areas. On the plus side, there is a free hourly shuttle service to and from Hong Kong Station.
It is a fair distance to the nearest halal dining options in Causeway Bay or Wan Chai.
There were very limited breakfast options for Muslims or halal-friendly choices. Rice was not included in the buffet spread but could be requested specially from the staff.
Huge thanks to Andy for making our stay so special. He efficiently coordinated the room, organized an extra bed, and whole hotel service surprised my daughter. Excellent service that truly embodies the Le Méridien spirit!
Front desk service is quite rude. I asked the lighter from the front office guy to smoke at designated area but his reply is just "No. No." That's it. I was in-house guest and stayed there for 2 nights. I'm not sure whether he can understand English or not. Housekeeping girl is very nice and polite. Overall fine!
5 star hotel based on Booking.com! we had a very late arrival and were happy to have made it to Hong Kong. The hotel location is quite remote and therefore we depend on room service. Unfortunately the minibar in the room was empty on drinks and food and room service non existing for 24 hours! I am sorry, but This is not 5 star hotel level, period. Very very disappointing Le Meridian, Marriot!!
My sister lives in the Cyberport area, so it was perfect for me. The people around the reception, like the concierge, dressed casually and give you a countryside vacation feel, but their services are top-notch, super friendly and welcoming! I also really like their free shuttle services. The room, the view, the bed and shower are all super comfy. I highly recommend this hotel.
