Touch down in Iquitos — the legendary jungle city accessible only by river or air — where our crew awaits to welcome you at the airport. Board your private transfer for a light lunch en route to Nauta port, where the magnificent Aria Amazon awaits. Settle into your beautifully appointed suite as the sights, sounds, and scents of the Amazon envelop you for the first time. Meet your expert naturalist guide team, complete the safety briefing, and gather in the restaurant for the first of many extraordinary dining experiences crafted by celebrated Amazonian chef Pedro Miguel Schiaffino.

Ucayali River, Yanallpa Creek & Dorado Lake — Pink Dolphins, Flooded Forest & Nocturnal Stargazing
Rise early for a morning wildlife excursion along the mighty Ucayali River — its banks dramatically expanded by high water season into a vast flooded landscape. Board expedition skiffs to glide through risen waters in search of legendary pink river dolphins thriving magnificently in the flooded forest, while observing local farmers and fishermen along the swollen banks in scenes unchanged for generations. As darkness descends, board the skiffs once more for an atmospheric nocturnal excursion along beautiful Dorado Lake — the Amazon sky blazing with an impossibly brilliant canopy of stars far from any light pollution.

Ucayali River, Puinahua River & Zapote River — Full Day River Safari & Floodplain Forest
After breakfast embark on one of the expedition's most extraordinary days — a full day river safari deep into the pristine Zapote River system. Expedition skiffs glide silently through flooded forest corridors, penetrating areas accessible only during high water season, as naturalist guides bring this remarkable ecosystem vividly to life. Enjoy a magical picnic lunch in the Amazonian shade before exploring the floodplain forest for medicinal trees, remarkable insects, and extraordinary frogs. Return via the majestic Ucayali River as the Amazon sunset transforms the sky above the flooded forest in a breathtaking display of color and light.

Clavero Lake, Ucayali River & Yarapa River — Piranhas, Black Waters & Crew Celebration
Begin with a morning excursion along the Ucayali River — its high water season waters merging spectacularly with the surrounding flooded forest. After breakfast, make for Clavero Lake — its dark black waters expanded by high water season and merging seamlessly with the submerged forest. Choose from piranha fishing, a canoe through flooded forest corridors, a refreshing swim, or a visit to a local village for an authentic encounter with riverside community life. In the afternoon explore the mysterious Yarapa River by skiff. Return to Aria Amazon before dinner to celebrate the remarkable crew behind your unforgettable expedition.

Nauta Market, Manatee Rescue Center & Departure
Conclude your Amazon journey with a morning visit to Nauta market — a vibrant celebration of the region's extraordinary bounty, where jungle fruits, river fish, and aromatic herbs fill the stalls in a riot of color and fragrance. Sample exotic local snacks and discover ingredients sustaining Amazonian communities for generations, before returning to Aria Amazon for a final breakfast and departure preparations. En route to the airport, make a final stop at the Manatee Rescue Center — a remarkable sanctuary where orphaned Amazonian manatees are rehabilitated and prepared for their return to the magnificently risen waters of the Amazon.
