Burdock Hotel Istanbul, Autograph Collection or similar accommodationsToday begins with a full-day guided tour of Istanbul’s most celebrated landmarks. Visit Hagia Sophia, the 6th-century Byzantine masterpiece, and walk through the Hippodrome, once the sporting and social center of Constantinople. Admire the grandeur of the Blue Mosque, known for its stunning Iznik tiles and elegant design. You may choose to add an optional visit to Topkapi Palace Museum, the opulent residence of Ottoman sultans, excluding the Harem section. Later, explore the Grand Bazaar, one of the world’s oldest and largest covered markets. In the evening, you may opt for a traditional Turkish dinner accompanied by a belly dancing performance. (B)

Gallipoli – Dardanelles – Canakkale
This morning travel to the historic Gallipoli Peninsula, the site of the WWI ANZAC campaign. Here you will visit Anzac Cove, Lone Pine Cemetery, and the Chunuk Bair Memorial, before crossing the Dardanelles Strait to Canakkale. Dinner and overnight will be in Canakkale. (B,D)

Troy – Pergamum – Izmir
After breakfast, explore the ancient city of Troy, renowned for the legendary Trojan War and its famous wooden horse. Continue to a traditional village where you will enjoy lunch with local hosts. The journey then takes you to Pergamum, once a powerful kingdom and home to the Asklepion, an early center of medicine and healing. Dinner and overnight will be in Izmir. (B,L,D)

Ephesus & House of Virgin Mary – Izmir
Today offers an optional full-day excursion to the spectacular ruins of Ephesus, where you will walk along marble streets and see highlights such as the grand Theater, the Library of Celsus, and the Temple of Hadrian. Afterwards, visit the House of the Virgin Mary, an important pilgrimage site for both Christians and Muslims. The day also includes a stop at a regional carpet center to observe the traditional art of Turkish rug weaving. Dinner and overnight will be in Izmir. (B,D)
