CRUISE PROGRAM - 5-day/4-night cruise between Luxor and Aswan, visiting Luxor, Esna, Edfu, Kom Ombo and Aswan. Includes Private arrival & departure transfers, and a 4-night Nile cruise with breakfast daily, lunches, welcome dinner and Captain's dinner, tours of Luxor’s East and West Banks, including Luxor Temple, Karnak Temple, Valley of the Kings, Temple of Hatshepsut and Collosi of Memnon, visits to Aswan’s high dam and Philae Temple.
Arrive in Luxor and board your Nile cruise in time for lunch, settling into your cabin as the river gently flows past. This afternoon, explore Luxor’s remarkable East Bank, beginning at the majestic Karnak Temple, a vast complex of towering columns and sacred sanctuaries. Continue to the beautifully illuminated Luxor Temple, dramatically set along the Nile’s edge.
Return to your ship for dinner, followed by relaxed evening entertainment in the lounge as you begin your unforgettable journey.
After breakfast, cross to Luxor’s West Bank to explore the legendary Valley of the Kings, where pharaohs were laid to rest in richly decorated tombs carved into desert cliffs. Visit the striking Temple of Hatshepsut, an architectural masterpiece rising against limestone hills, and pause at the imposing Colossi of Memnon.
Return to the ship and sail south toward Edfu via Esna, enjoying dinner and onboard entertainment as the scenery drifts by.
This morning, visit the remarkably preserved Temple of Horus at Edfu, one of Egypt’s finest surviving temples. After returning for lunch onboard, relax as your cruise continues toward Kom Ombo. Spend the afternoon at leisure — unwind by the pool, enjoy spa facilities, or savour afternoon tea on deck.
Later, explore the distinctive twin design of the Temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated to Sobek and Haeroris. This evening, delight in dinner onboard and join the festivities of a colourful traditional Galabeya Night.
Wake in picturesque Aswan and enjoy breakfast before discovering the impressive Aswan High Dam and the granite quarries housing the enormous Unfinished Obelisk. Continue to the enchanting Philae Temple, beautifully relocated to an island setting.
This afternoon, board a traditional felucca to sail around Kitchener's Island, with views of the hillside Aga Khan Mausoleum. Return for dinner and a final evening of onboard entertainment.
Following breakfast, disembark in Aswan and transfer to the airport for your onward travel. Alternatively, enhance your journey with a visit to the extraordinary Abu Simbel Temples, the monumental rock-cut temples of Ramses II overlooking Lake Nasser.
