Kalahari Plains Camp is within the Central Kalahari Game Reserve and overlooks an immense pan. In the Northern plains of the Central Kalahari Game Reserve, observe significant populations of large predators such as lion, cheetah and brown hyaena as well as wildebeest and eland. In addition to your first class adventure, domestic air tickets from/to Maun-Kalahari plains will be included in the services.

5 day/4 night package featuring the Kalahari Plains. This program includes domestic flights, accommodation in a Superior First Class Desert Lodge, daily breakfast, daily game drives and guided Bushman walks.

Kalahari Plains - Arrival

First Class Superior Desert Lodge:

Kalahari Plains or similar accommodations

Upon arrival to the Kalahari Plains airstrip, you will be met by a lodge representative and transferred to your camp (shared transfer). Kalahari Plains Camp faces a huge pan with endless horizons and vast skies to take your breath away. Luxurious and eco-friendly, you’re sure to enjoy your stay in this tented chalet. The remainder of the day is at your leisure or lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive, depending on your arrival time. (L,D)

First Class Superior Desert Lodge:

Kalahari Plains or similar accommodations

After breakfast at the camp, get ready for guided morning and afternoon game drives in open 4WD vehicles. For much of the year, the Central Kalahari Game Reserve is a dry, unrelenting landscape dotted with a relatively low density of wildlife; springbok, gemsbok (or oryx), black-backed jackals, bat-eared foxes and, occasionally, wild dog, cheetah and lion. Safari adventures include game drives in search of carnivorous beasts as well as springbok and wildebeest, but Kalahari Plains Camp is also a cultural delight. You can experience an interpretive guided Bushman walk and immerse yourself in this fascinating culture. This is Africa untamed in all its magnificent glory. (B,L,D)

Note: Guests aged 75 years and over need to produce a medical certificate regarding their fitness level should they wish to partake in a game walk, all walks are based at the discretion of the guide.
