Used the swimming pool at a fee of 100 MAD pp per day. Was very pleasant in the morning and filled up in the afternoon. We had a good time regardless with some needed shelter from the heat.

This hotel does NOT deserve to be in the 4-star hotel liat. Maybe if i label them in the 2-star category, id be generous.
I do not recommend this hotel; the staff are dishonest people. I made a reservation over the phone, but upon arriving at the hotel, a woman at the front desk tried to charge me a higher nightly rate. I then spoke with the person with whom I had originally made the reservation; he told her to honor the price we had agreed upon. In response, the woman told me to sit down and wait. I waited for nearly an hour. When I finally grew tired of waiting, I asked how much longer it would take for the room to be ready, as I was exhausted from my travels. She simply stated that the price was different now and that I would have to accept it. At that point, I stood up, grabbed my luggage, and left. It was a complete lack of respect toward a customer. These are very dishonest people; I do not recommend this hotel.
There's something going rather weirdly wrong in the reviews below. Now, either there's another similarly named hotel that is being muddled with this one, or people have zero interest in anything other than bland, sleek, shiny rooms... Hotel Parador is a delight. Beautifully situated in the heart of the Medina and with stunning views across the valley towards the Spanish mosque. Clean and simply furnished with accents in dark wood and the most beautiful green tiles in the bathroom (which had the best view from the loo ever!). Proper door key (no ridiculous card swipe thing). The reception team were friendly and professional, and the breakfast had a good selection, including local Amizagh specialities. Yes, the pool wasn't filled but quite frankly, why on earth would you come to this stunning city to go for a swim? Would definitely come back and stay here!
How can this hotel qualify as a 4 star hotel? It’s downright old, yucky and not maintained. The furniture and anything inside the room feels like 50 years old. The worst thing is the bed is mushy and so are the pillows. Please do not stay here if you have a choice. The only thing that is good is the location is quite near to main square.
