One of the best lodges. Big rooms. Private bathroom. Great balcony with amazing view. Top service and food. Amazing restaurant and bar area. With an extraordinary garden. Just stay and relax. And feel the calmness of the Savana in comfort.
Travis met me at the front door. Welcoming, warm friendly and engaging he was the perfect introduction to the Rostock Ritz. The pride he had showing me the renovations and what the lodge had become was evident. I was so impressed by everything I witnessed and experiences. I only stopped for lunch buying had training very recently the chefs served up the most tasty succulent chicken salad I have ever had. I wish I could have stayed longer. For us one of the best Lodges in Namibia. We stayed there in the end of Nov 2025. The view is breathtaking, people/staff/crew very friendly and attentive. The food more than delicious. 5* Food! Our room was very clean, had everything you need. We did both tours which where offered. Both tours (sundowner, paintings) absolutely unique. We already booked again. Highly recommend this Lodge.
What an incredible stay. All our needs were met and much more than what I expected. The food was by far the best in the area. The rooms are kept cool with the thick stone walls. Every need a guest could expect was met. The view alone was a reason to return again and again. Staff were kind and helpful. I was travelling with my dad, who is in a wheelchair at 88. They have 2 rooms set up for elderly and those with limited movement. Outstanding location. I booked 1 night and stayed for 3. The best was the balcony each room had , we sat and watched every incredible sunrise ans sunset
