Swakopmund Plaza Hotel

Very nice hotel, located in central part of Swakopmund, close to all facilities, shops and restaurants. Friendly staff and good service. Nice and well equipped rooms, and in good condition.

We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this hotel. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. A special mention goes to the reception team, who truly made our stay exceptional. The ladies at reception were incredibly friendly, professional and always willing to help with a smile. They went above and beyond to answer our questions, assist with recommendations and ensure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. Thank you to the team for such a great experience!

The hotel itself is decent, but there is one major issue that significantly affected my stay: starting at 5:30 AM, there is extremely loud, dull noise coming from the hotel’s gym. The building structure seems to transmit sound very strongly – the noise is clearly audible and disturbing even on the second floor. Getting proper rest is simply not possible under these conditions. I really don’t understand why a hotel would allow a gym to operate at such early hours without proper soundproofing. For guests looking for peace and quiet, this is completely unacceptable. This issue urgently needs to be addressed, either by improving sound insulation or adjusting the gym’s opening hours.

My breakfast pack each morning was stacked up with lots of starch (Bread)etc at one point I felt as if I was a pig.No effort was put into improving my breakfast pack & making it more enjoyable although I’ve raised my concerns. Very inconsiderate of the hotel staff not to bother to improve their service even when a customer is dissatisfied.Each day I had to ask may I please have a juice with my breakfast pack no fruit was even offered.Please let’s make sure that we are more considerate & conscious about customers preference & strive towards exceptional customer service delivery.
