Reykjavik - Arrival

Upon arrival in Reykjavik you will be privately transferred to your hotel and check into the 5-Star Edition Reykjavik. Spend the remainder of the day at leisure exploring the city visiting landmarks including Harpa Concert Hall, Hallgrimskirkja Church, and the Sun Voyager.

The Golden Circle including The Blue Lagoon

Breakfast is at the hotel before setting out to tour Iceland's iconic Golden Circle. Visit Thingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site where the Eurasian and North American plates meet. Continue to the Geysir geothermal area, home to bubbling mud pools and Strokkur geyser, which erupts every 5-10 minutes. Admire the powerful Gullfoss waterfall, fed by the glacial river Hvita plunging dramatically into a deep canyon. Conclude the day with a relaxing visit to the world-famous Blue Lagoon, soaking in its mineral-rich geothermal waters. Your Blue Lagoon Signature Experience includes admission, towel and bathrobe, silica and algae masks, a drink of of your choise, and exclusive gift products.

Framed by Iceland's dramatic landscapes, this rare celestial event promises a truly awe-inspiring and unforgettable experience. Please note that while every effort is made to provide the best possible viewing conditions, clear skies cannot be guaranteed on Eclipse Day. As with the northern lights, this phenomenon is dependend on natural conditions. (Our ground team will remain flexibile and may adjust viewing locations by land or sea to ensure the most memorable experience possible).

Iceland's South Coast

After Breakfast, journey along Iceland's spectacular South Coast. Your first stop is Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach, once ranked among the world's ten most beautiful non-tropical beaches. Admire the dramatic Atlantic waves crashing against the striking basalt columns, with offshore rock pillars and the cliffs of Dyrholaey visible in the distance. Continue to Skogafoss, the jewel of the South Coast, where the powerful waterfall plungs 60 meters into the gorge below, often creating shimmering rainbows in the mist. Discover a hidden waterfall before visiting Seljalandsfoss, one of Iceland's most iconic cascades. Here, enjoy the unique opportunity to walk behind the 60-meter high curtain of water for a truly memorable perspective. Today's private tour also will include a tour during your visit to Katla Ice Cave.

Breakfast is at the hotel. As you prepare to conclude your Icelandic Eclipse adventure, you will be privately transferred back to Keflavik International Airport onto your next destination.
