Part of the Greater National Kruger Park, Kapama Karula is located in the expansive Kapama Game Reserve. Kapama Karula arranges game drives in open-safari vehicles, accompanied by experienced rangers. The luxurious suites have views over the Klaserie River. The spacious Suites at Kapama Karula are each luxuriously decorated and have an outside deck area with heated swimming pool and sun loungers. They feature a full private bathroom, as well as an outdoor shower. There’s a stocked minibar and a Nespresso coffee machine. For guest comfort and convenience, the suites have a telephone, an iPod docking station, an overhead fan and air conditioning. Each suite also comes with a seating area and a gas-heated fireplace. The family suites have an open-plan living area, a master bedroom, and a children's bedroom. Kapama's modern lounge and bar offers a contemporary African feel. With prior arrangement, the lodge can set up a romantic dinner for two in the library. For relaxation, guests can unwind in the Karula's luxury spa – which is surrounded by glass to enhance the African bush scenery. The spa combines rustic warmth with neutral colors and a calm atmosphere. Guests can also relax in the multipurpose library, equipped with audiovisual equipment. There are 2 internet stations with complimentary WiFi for guests to use.

The most incredible experience I ever could have imagined. Kapama Karula truly exceeded every expectation. The guides and staff made our visit incredibly special - their thoughtfulness and attention to detail were so appreciated.
Our guide and tracker (Priscilla and Comfort) went above and beyond. They made this the trip of a lifetime for us. They are so knowledgeable, kind, and patient. By the end of our trip, they felt like family. Johan, our server, was also the kindest person and so hospitable.
We just left and I already want to plan our next visit!
From start to finish, our 3 night stay was exemplary. The staff make the place what it is with their attention to every little detail. The food, the bar with every premium drink you could ask for, and the incredible game drives (we had Elvis as the driver) were all luxury to the utmost. We managed to see all of the Big Five to top off an already unforgettable stay
From the moment we arrived at Kapama Karula Lodge, we were enveloped in luxury, warmth, and the magic of the African bush. Every element of our stay was thoughtfully curated to create a seamless and unforgettable experience.
The lodge itself is absolutely stunning, modern, elegant, and perfectly integrated with its natural surroundings. The suite was incredibly spacious, beautifully designed, and featured a private deck with a heated plunge pool overlooking the riverbed.
Game viewing was great, and all staff were professional and friendly.
Magnificent lodge. We had a wonderful stay at Karula Lodge. So stylish and well decorated. The food was very good and decorated beautifully. The room was very big, spacious and comfortable. We loved the huge deck with own splash pool. All the staff were absolutely outstanding. What a special magical place in the bush. We loved Karula Lodge
I loved it it here !The rooms are stunning with private pools and views straight into the bush. Staff were professional and welcoming, and the game drives delivered big-time with great wildlife sightings. Food was excellent, and the spa added a nice touch. It's not the wildest feeling reserve, but it’s perfect if you want luxury and nature combined. Solid 9/10.
