A friend and I spent our birthday week at the resort, and we wouldn't change a thing. The ambiance, service, and rooms were truly exceptional. The meals offer true value for the money spent. I absolutely loved the welcome reception, as well as the staff's professionalism and attention to detail. I highly recommend this resort!"

The hotel exceeded expectations: the pictures on its website and on booking platforms do not do it justice! The premises and the rooms are really beautiful, with high levels of comfort, and very friendly service throughout. The sunset cruise seems expensive at a first glance but includes generous snacks and drinks, so it is worth doing. Three minor caveats: - the restaurants aren't a place to be in a hurry - airport transfers are a bit expensive at $25 per person (falls transfer is $28 return per car, much better value!) - the bathroom layout grants no privacy whatsoever in the toilet; the toilet has a door but it's a glass door with a huge gap.
Really, really nice hotel. Quite exotic feel definitely feels like a booshy place to be, as well as elegant. Very pleasant staff, very clean rooms, Rooms are beautiful and spacious. Boat cruise included, the lady Livingstone. Really good host, informative, and funny. We where lucky to see all animals on our trip. Hippos, giraffe, elephant, crocodile, impla, zebra, and monkeys plus birds. No rhino's seen on this trip (this time) Food We realised after we paid the bill that you can order from the main menu after we had eaten and eat downstairs at the bar area. Which would of been a 3rd of the price and eaten what we wanted and not have gone to waste. However, they kept the buffet open later for guests who arrived late from the large delay from zambia Airways, which everyone from the flight appears to be eating and I feel we all followed each other to the buffet rather then the bar area. Breakfast included is very nice, same area as the buffet. They make eggs to order their and then. Overall a amazing stay, I would come back again its very on par with the avani hotel. Highly recommend, we will be coming back
We visited the lodge 3 years ago, and again this year in May and it is looking stunning! The rooms have undergone a refurbishment and are looking beautiful. The staff are so friendly, and the location is unmatched. Added bonus: the Lady Livingstone boat (sunset or dinner cruise) takes off from this spot! Highly recommended.
I recently stayed at the David Livingstone Hotel and overall had a lovely experience. The location is absolutely stunning, with beautiful views that really make your stay feel special. The rooms were comfortable and the atmosphere was peaceful, making it a great place to relax. That said, there are a couple of areas that could be improved. The washrooms didn’t have a bidet/hand shower, which made things a bit inconvenient and affected my comfort. Additionally, while the staff were polite, the service could be more attentive and efficient. Overall, it’s a great place with a lot of potential, and with a few improvements, it could easily be an exceptional stay.
